18. The Dial Can Facilitate Time Travel

While having a few retirement drinks at a nearby bar, Indy meets up with one of his students who eventually reveals herself to be his goddaughter, Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge).

The pair then get to talking about the Dial, which Helena is still attempting to find in order to follow through on her father Basil's obsessive pursuit of it.

Indy eventually reveals that he still has half of the Dial in his office, and mentions Basil's belief that, in addition to being a weather-predicting device, it had wider applications - namely being able to manipulate fissures in time.
