It goes without saying that The Hulk was probably the most pleasant surprise in The Avengers, with Joss Whedon crafting arguably the best iteration of the character that cinema or TV has ever seen. Though Marvel President of Production Kevin Feige has flat-out stated that we will definitely not be seeing The Hulk in Iron Man 3, that doesn't mean Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner won't be swinging by, and given their hilarious chemistry in The Avengers, it's certainly something Shane Black - who has a penchant for writing wit-infused, verbose dialogues - should take total advantage of. Though it's admirable not to include The Hulk for fear of making the film collapse under the weight of the MCU, a cameo from Bruce - even just seeing them goof off in the lab, or Tony trying to provoke Bruce into raging out - would be a great way to remind us of how great a pairing they are. Considering we're left without a standalone Hulk film, this would be a nice way to keep him in mind.
