James Wan Says He'll Bring Horror To Aquaman
Prepare to get scared and moist.
Despite assumptions that Aquaman was going to be DC's silliest movie of the initially announced slate, it looks like The Flash will be the lighter movie and Aquaman might well be exploring a genre we haven't seen enough of in comic book movies.
James Wan has just appeared at Comic Con to confirm that he will be bringing some of his experience in horror movies to the undersea superhero movie...
That's one way to make people care.
Horror and comic book movies have far more potential than we've seen even remotely hinted at. That might be because of the embarrassing failure of the likes of Spawn and the diminished returns of the Blade sequels. But it's about time we saw more, and Wan knows what he's doing in that respect.
