John Boyega Was Responsible For The Rise Of Skywalker Script That Ended Up On eBay
The Finn actor has admitted he was the one whose Star Wars script was found by a cleaner.
Earlier this week, director J.J. Abrams revealed that some klutz lost their Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker script and this most precious of screenplays somehow ended up on eBay. And now, said klutz has been confirmed to be John Boyega.
As Abrams had explained, only a handful of fully finished scripts were produced, and they were even printed on a special paper that made them impossible to copy. After a certain Star Wars actor left their script under a bed for a cleaner to find, this document ended up listed on eBay for just $84.
Luckily, a Disney employee happened to see the script and have the listing pulled before it could be sold.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Finn actor Boyega has admitted that he was the one to foolishly lose a script that featured each and every secret and revelation of The Rise of Skywalker.
As Boyega explained, the script got left under a bed during a house move.
For those who were hoping to avoid any substantial spoilers for this final offering in the Skywalker Saga, thankfully somebody from Disney manage to save the film’s major details from being leaked out into the world.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens worldwide on December 19th.
