5. When Is It Coming Out?

The currently announced release date for John Wick 4 is May 21st, 2021.

That gives the studio almost exactly two years between the release of Chapter 3 and its sequel to have a script, cast and production team ready to shoot and complete the film if it’s to hit that initial release date.

Considering Chapter 3 was officially in the works five months before Chapter 2 was even released, it’s likely the idea for a fourth instalment has been floating around for a while already.

Chapter 3 started filming with just a year until release and hit its initially announced date, so it’s likely that Chapter 4 is going to have more than enough time to be crafted from the ground up in time for May 21st.
