6. It's A Mesmerising Visual Feast
The John Wick films have all been lookers, especially the last two, as so expertly shot by Oscar-nominated cinematographer Dan Laustsen, and Chapter 4 impressively continues the series' tradition of being some of the handsomest action flicks around.
Laustsen returns again to lens a movie that's never seen a neon light it didn't love, but beyond that, the production design of the stunning sets, the locations, and the lavish costumes all combine to ensure Chapter 4 is perhaps the classiest-looking film ever made in which several-hundred people get shot in the head.
But even on a basic level, director Stahelski understands the raw appeal of shooting the action wide and only cutting when it makes sense, ensuring we always understand where everybody is and where the action is going.
If Chapter 4's $100 million budget might make you raise your eyebrows, it's clear that every damn penny ended up on the screen.
