11. The Hammond Tribute

The main information centre at the centre of Jurassic World is not only similar in design to that of Jurassic Park, but also contains a touching tribute to John Hammond, the man behind the whole idea. The building is named after Hammond and a statue of the industrialist, who was played by the late Richard Attenborough in the first two films, stands at its centre. The film also has a shout-out to Hammond's oft-repeated statement of "sparing no expense", an ethos that is gradually revealed to not being followed this time around.
