Despite being burned by bad movies in the past (particularly bad sequels), I remain an optimist at heart. I choose to believe that Star Wars: Episode VII will blow us away... because Luke, Han and Leia might all come back and we'll get the first truly brilliant entry in the franchise since Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi. Only this will be even better because, well... as cute as they were, there won't be any Ewoks this time round and cool characters like Boba Fett won't find themselves subjected to utterly stupid deaths. Apologies if that's a 30-year old spoiler for some people! When I heard that the fourth entry in the Jurassic Park franchise was actually happening, my first thoughts didn't dwell on that "oh, but Jurassic Park III was a little disappointing and forgot to have an ending" stuff. No, my first thought was "fantastic! The writers/directors/producer can learn from the mistakes of the last film and can make a truly awesome sequel that delivers in all aspects." And so, hearing about a return to the original island of Isla Nublar, underwater dinosaurs, that brilliant kid from Iron Man 3, and actors like Bryce Dallas Howard, Josh Brolin and Idris Elba confirmed or rumoured for roles, I can't help but feel like an excited kid all over again. The only thing that's disappointing me, though? That we haven't heard anything about returning cast members. I'm not saying I want anyone from Jurassic Park III back, particularly, and I'm not even saying we need everyone who survived the first three films to make cameos... but I would like some memorable characters to make a return. With that in mind, here are my top 5 picks for those originals who should make a comeback and - just for fun - how that should happen. For the record, I'm basing most of this on the plot rumour that the park, Jurassic World, will finally be up and running to the paying public when the movie begins...
