21. It's All About Giant Locusts

What nobody could've anticipated is that so much of Dominion's plot would pivot away from the expected "dinosaurs in the wild" story towards, er, genetically engineered giant locusts. Yup.

The motivating apocalyptic story is actually that malevolent tech company Biosyn has created a breed of locusts to devour crops around the world that aren't spawned from Biosyn seeds, effectively allowing them to control the global food chain.

It's a strange and strangely involved plot for a movie supposed to be focused on dinosaurs, and while the attempt to try something different is somewhat admirable, it's ultimately more boring than it is interesting or entertaining.
