4. Dinosaur Blood Transfusion For Dummies!
After Owen's raptor pal Blue gets shot during her capture, Owen and Claire discover that she requires a blood transfusion in order to survive.
At this point, the pair enter a T-Rex cell onboard Mills' boat, where Owen instructs Claire on retrieving a blood sample from the T-Rex. He convinces a reluctant Claire to climb on top of the T-Rex and jab a needle through its thick skin in order to start siphoning the blood.
But...that's not how drawing blood works. She's a businesswoman, not a scientist, yet given how quickly she finds a vein and starts milking the T-Rex's vitals, you'd assume she was an expert on dinosaur biology.
Yes, the plot needs to keep moving along, but surely it would've made more sense for Zia, a former Marine and dinosaur vet, to be the one to retrieve the blood, no?
