8. The T-Rex Roar

During the volcanic eruption sequence, Owen makes his way to the Gyrosphere where Claire and Franklin are hiding out, only to be stalked by a Ceratosaurus.

However, the Ceratosaurus is promptly killed by the park's iconic T-Rex, much to Owen's amazement, before the T-Rex lets out a loud, monstrous roar.

This is a clear homage to the "T-Rex Machina" that occurs at the end of the original movie, where the T-Rex saves the humans from the raptors at the last minute, before letting out a roar with almost the exact same visual framing.
