10. Carla Gugino May Be Suiting Up As Catwoman

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice made it clear that the Caped Crusader has been operating in Gotham City for decades, so the vigilante is one with a lot of history in the DC Extended Universe. In Zack Snyder's mind, Batman has crossed paths with Catwoman, and the filmmaker has now teased who he would choose to play Selina Kyle and what the history between the two might look like.

"I would say Carla [Gugino] [as] Catwoman [is perfect]. You would have to say, there's a flashback to ten years ago, where they were a thing," Snyder pondered. "And then he had to arrest her, I don't know what happened, or he had to let her go, and it tweaked him."

"And now, who knows what she's doing now, she's running some sort of international antiquities or something, and he needs to retire, and they find each other," he added.

Does this mean Catwoman will be part of Zack Snyder's Justice League? It's not outside the ream of possibility by any means, especially as those reshoots are grander in scale than anticipated. Adding further fuel to the fire is a Vero post shared by the filmmaker shortly after his made those remarks.
