Justice League: 10 New Details Revealed By Director Zack Snyder
2. Changing The Colour Of The Sky
Love or hate his work, there's no denying that when it comes to visuals, Zack Snyder's style is one of the most distinct in Hollywood today. Even if you hated seeing the Dark Knight kill or that that terrible Doomsday design in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, for example, there's no denying that the fight between the two titular heroes was beautifully shot.
In terms of visual changes in the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, it's likely that the movie will be unrecognisable, and that was as good as confirmed by the director when he confirmed to a fan that the red skies used in "Josstice League" will once again be blue (as they were in those early trailers).
Snyder later confirmed that he shot his version of Justice League entirely on film, and that it was shot in 1:33. Why does it matter? Well, the theatrical cut was a 1:85 crop, so when this alternate take arrives on HBO Max, it will be presented in a format bound to make many film buffs out there very happy indeed.
