7. Wonder Woman & Cyborg Are Romantically Linked
The Rumour: Set visit reports earlier in the year led to one of the film's most peculiar rumours, that Wonder Woman and Cyborg would have a romance over the course of the movie.
The report in question stated that, during filming for the scene in which the League meet up with Commissioner Gordon on a rooftop, Gal Gadot repeatedly performed her reaction to Cyborg's arrival with an "ardent" enthusiasm that suggested they were perhaps more than friends. Naturally, the Internet totally ran with it.
The Truth: Whether this was a case of the reporter misinterpreting Gadot's performance or this subplot being sliced away in editing, there's not a remote hint of it in the final cut.
Wonder Woman basically plays a mother-like character to the League rather than anything approaching romantic interest, and if she was gonna hook up with anyone, it'd definitely be Bruce Wayne.
