In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne referenced The Joker on a handful of occasions, with the most direct coming when he was shown looking at Robin's defaced costume. Spray-painted across the front were the words, "HaHaHa, Joke's On You Batman," a clear indication that, in this world, the Clown Prince of Crime murdered the Boy Wonder.

Zack Snyder has since confirmed that this was the Dick Grayson version of Robin, not Jason Todd, and this is a piece of DC Extended Universe history fans would love to see addressed in some way.

Whether it's a vision created by the Mother Boxes, Cyborg unearthing old security camera footage while investigating the League, or a full-blown flashback, the night Robin died would be incredible to finally see in live-action. This was also the night the Dark Knight destroyed The Joker's smile by punching his teeth out, and that brutal moment perfectly fits Snyder's dark sensibilities.

It would be something of a random addition to Justice League, but one which would blow the minds of fans everywhere.
