2. A Smoother & More Consistent Tone

Both Avengers movies have proven beyond any doubt that Whedon is excellent at creating superhero movies with a consistent tone, free of jarring and awkward mood shits that pull the viewer out of the experience.

As such Whedon has probably been tasked with smoothing Justice League's edges overall, and ensuring that the goofier one-liners mesh properly with the action, danger and general looming sense of threat.

Tone is one of the DCEU's biggest issues to date, though hopefully Wonder Woman's success in this regard and Whedon's current work on Justice League signals that the ship is being course-corrected from this point.
