12. Batman's First Cover

Batman's "introduction" in the second trailer sees him swinging into shot as a Parademon attempts to shoot him out of the sky. It's very similar to a shot that we saw in Batman v Superman when Doomsday attempted to optic blast him to smithereens, and there's a clever reason why Snyder effectively reuses Batman's pose.

The way he swings into view is extremely reminiscent of the cover of Batman's first appearance on the cover of Detective Comics #27. Seriously, it's uncanny...

Clearly, the director knows his comics.
