23. The Old Gods And The New
To give Zack Snyder his dues, the action sequence flashback telling the story of Steppenwolf's first invasion of Earth (which is definitely Snyder's work) is an excellent part of the film's first act. But it's still shocking to see the Green Lantern Corps revealed for the first time fighting alongside the Atlanteans, humans and Amazons.

It was also a really good way of seeding their presence without having to cast anyone for the Corps movie that might not even happen.
Also shocking was the inclusion of some of the Old Gods fighting in that army too, with a figure who definitely seems to look like Zeus also dropped in for a very brief cameo. It's just a shame we couldn't get a full-blown war movie set in this timeline.
