10. The Old Gods

During the flashback sequence to Steppenwolf's failed invasion of Earth, there are some sneaky cameos featuring several of the Old Gods.

Most prominently, Zeus is shown firing a lightning bolt to prevent the Unity from happening, and Ares is also visible fending off the Parademons, but getting significantly more screen visibility than either of them is Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, who is shown firing powerful arrows at Steppenwolf's forces.

Though it's way too soon for the DCEU to delve deep into the mythology of the New Gods, to have them acknowledged on screen, in a bada** set-piece no less, was undeniably cool.
