6. Superman's Actual Return?

This shot of a cop looking up might seem like nothing, but there's already a fairly well established iconography in the DCEU for people looking up expectantly and Superman appearing messiah-like.

Plus, those red and blue balloons in the background there are too blatant to ignore - and so is the edit to Bruce Wayne looking at what appears to be a scan of Superman on his Bat-computer.

And to top off the suggestion, we then get a memorial to Superman, daubed with the same slogan carried on Christopher Wren's grave: "if you seek his monument, look around you". It still appears to be a focal point for hope among citizens and this definitely foreshadows why he's so important when he comes back.
