Like Hawkman, Booster Gold is another character with tremendous potential if adapted well, and if done right he could even be the Iron Man of the DCCU. Booster Gold is the alter ego of Michael Jon Carter, who was born in Gotham City in the 25th Century. He grew up poor thanks to his dad's gambling debts and was a gifted athlete who attended Gotham University on a football scholarship. He becomes start quarterback, but loses it all when his father comes back into his life and convinces him to throw the game, for which he is caught and expelled from Gotham U. He then gets a job at the Metropolis Space Museum, and is drawn to the displays featuring superheroes from the past. As a glory seeker looking for a big break, he decides to steal some of the equipment and go back in time, where he stages high-stakes heroics using his knowledge of historical events, gaining fame in the process. His origin story is one of the most unique in the DC universe, and could fit well within the new science-fiction-heavy take on the superhero genre that Zack Snyder introduced in Man Of Steel. He's another character that could provide a human element to the God-like powers of those around him, using his tech and gadgetry to give him his abilities.
