Justice League: The Snyder Cut - 10 Coolest Details We Know So Far
10. It's Over Three Hours Long
Zack Snyder isn't known for his cinematic brevity, and his trend of having long movies is something he continued with his Justice League cut.
Last December, the director shared an image of some film canisters - which were labelled "JL Directors Cut" - on his Vero page, and the listed running time read 214 minutes (3 hours and 34 minutes) long.
That's not even the longest cut Snyder has ever had, either. Shortly after he shared that running time image, the filmmaker took to Twitter and stated that his assembly cut (an unfinished version of the movie that is basically every bit of footage lumped together) was closer to five hours in length.
Considering that a brutally-tight runtime was one of the biggest issues with Justice League's theatrical cut (you could feel the movie trying to breath), more time would have been welcome. But Snyder has been known to indulge, so 3.5 hours was probably too far in the opposite direction.
