Justice League Trailer: 10 Big Questions We're Left With
1. How Will He Return?
The big question - and the reason he's being held back from the trailers - isn't whether or not Superman will return, but just how it will happen.
There are a few different schools of thought on how Supes will come back from the dead, including that his body started healing itself almost immediately, meaning he wasn't actually dead for long, or that he's resurrected by Kryptonian tech. Both of those are plausible enough within this world, and would lead to his return as a good guy.
The other, more intriguing possibility is that he was brought back by Apokalyptian technology, meaning he'd be serving as a weapon for Darkseid and fighting against his friends. It's a potentially very interesting direction to go in, even if it wouldn't last long, and would arguably be the most fitting way of bringing him back. It also fits, to a degree, with the Knightmare sequence from Batman v Superman, something this trailer mirrors the imagery of a fair bit.
