3. It Earns Its Epic Runtime
The film clocks in at a beefy 152 minutes, and if that seems a bit offputting, don't worry: it shouldn't be.

Impressively, despite its lengthy runtime, this movie never really feels it at all. Even though the first act doesn't feature much in the way of racing, the character work is engrossing enough to pass the time effortlessly.
Once the Ford/Ferrari feud kicks off in earnest, the pace ratchets up considerably and sustains a consistent clip all the way to the end credits.

Though there are probably a couple of dialogue scenes which could have been cut, there's nothing that stands out egregiously: pretty much everything in the movie earns its place there.
