Liam Neeson: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked
A man with a very specific set of skills.
Liam Neeson has quite the resume. And as of late he's really gone head first into his career and has been cranking out films faster than most people are capable of realizing he's even made them. His performance range includes everything but the kitchen sink from dramatic - charming, witty, handsome, cool, and even to powerful: he knows how to make you cry, laugh, fear, and jump for joy when he lays down the law on the bad guys. Since the Taken revolution reinvented him into an action film star (who spends a lot of time answering phone calls grumpily, apparently), he's quickly leapt to the top of the list of the most wanted stars for middle aged (in the nicest possible way) action heroes. Presumably the industry is just happy not to have to rely on Nic Cage for everything. In that vein, his latest father on a mission film - the ultra-violent Run All Night - punches its way into UK cinemas today, pitting Neeson against Ed Harris in a cat and mouse and guns high-stakes game. Though his accomplishments far outweigh his failures it goes without saying that all actors, even the great ones, are capable of putting out a couple stinkers, and Neeson is definitely not immune. When you work that much for that long it's inevitable, so with that in mind, let's look back at the best and worst moments of his career so far.
