Why do you have to kill your own future self? Wouldn't it be less of risk if another looper executed other loopers? Like with Dano's character, Seth, it's a small chance that self-preservation will set in, and apparently it does occur so why take the risks? Send the "closed loops" with a personalized id-card and have the looper's inform each other of the contract's end.
