Film adaptations of comic books seem just as popular as video game adaptations at the moment. Today it's been announced that Rogue Pictures will bring Chris Kirby's WWII comic book series Lost Squad to the big screen. More info on the series from Dark Horizons.. "Lost Squad" chronicles the adventures of a ragtag unit of Allied soldiers who fight Hitler's occult agents and other supernatural threats during WWII". I've always loved the idea of movies and literature blending sci-fi with something like WWII and Hitler. And I've enjoyed alot of comic book adaptations recently with Sin City and V for Vendetta (although not a patch on comic series), so this should be a lot of fun. I liked the look of the movie Deathwatch, which was a ghostly horror movie set around WWI but never got chance to see it, is it worth hunting out for? anyone seen it? source - dark horizons, variety
