Im deeply impressed by the cast of Man of Steel, and I particularly cant wait to see what Costner has managed to do with the role of Jonathan Kent. Costner hasnt always had the greatest track record for Hollywood blockbusters anyone remember Waterworld? but when hes in the right role, hes often phenomenal. From what we can hopefully glean from the trailer Costner is set to turn in a powerfully emotional performance of perhaps the most enduring father figure in all of modern fiction.
