An icy sanctuary hidden from the rest of the world, the Fortress of Solitude is Supermans home away from home. Accumulated with all the knowledge of the universe and the wonders of Kryptonian science, the fortress is a vast and mesmerizing structure. This place holds true resonance in Superman principle and deserves a spot in this film. I believe that it needs to retain its crystallized appearance as well even though its been stated that Krypton will not. Its common knowledge among Superman fans, that the fortress is a duplication of the geography of Krypton. The fortress has always been an astounding and imposing vast structure. Its massive and frozen presence is the reason why its so important and spellbinding. Theres no Superman without a Fortress of Solitude. Without it, I believe the film would be doing a huge disservice to Superman and his storied history.
