13. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

The Thor sequel deals in part with the aftermath of The Avengers, but mostly tells its own stand-alone, realm-hopping story. Loki plays a much more plot-essential this time because everyone loves Tom Hiddleston.

Introduces: The Collector (sting)

Post-Credits Scene: As with The Avengers, there's two. The first sees Volstagg and Sif deliver the Ether, which is revealed to be one of the Infinity Stones, to The Collector. The second sees Thor return to Earth to be with Jane Foster.
