1. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
It was always going to take something huge to dethrone Captain America: Civil War and that's exactly what it took.
In Infinity War, the Russos achieved the unthinkable, super-injecting every pillar that had made the MCU so perfect and compelling to fans and wrapping up ten years of story-telling in an organic, entertaining manner AND offering some of the franchise's best moments. All at once.
It's not as tight a story as The Winter Soldier or Civil War, but the spectacle here is amazing, Thanos is an unrivalled villain because of his complexity and even knowing that the end was never going to last, it packed an emotional punch that knocked the wind out of the entire world .
If we're to judge movies on the way they make us feel, Infinity War wins by a country mile.
