Marvel's Loki TV Series: Everything We Know
7. It's Being Made By Marvel Studios
There are already a ton of TV shows that exist within the MCU, like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Agents Of SHIELD, and Runaways. But the one thing that these shows have in common is that they're not made by Marvel Studios.
Marvel Studios is the production company that handles the MCU films, whereas those shows are all produced by Marvel Television, which is a separate operation - with a different creative team, headed up by Jeph Loeb - from Marvel Studios.
But one of the best things about Loki's show (as well as the other upcoming Disney Plus MCU shows), is that they'll all be produced by Marvel Studios. Unlike the current slate of shows under Loeb, this means that MCU mastermind Kevin Feige can have final say on the tone, story, and what characters are included.
Basically, the Loki show will feel like a true part of the MCU, because it's being made by the same people who make the films. This won't be like the Netflix shows, where all we get is a reference to the Avengers every couple of episodes: these shows will be direct extensions of the movies, rather than superfluous additions.
