1. The Paparazzi Played A Key Role

Nowadays, the threat of paparazzi - or really anyone unwanted - sneaking onto sets and leaking images or plot details for MCU movies is so great that film-makers are literally shooting fake scenes and threatening their cast and crew with excommunication if they let anything slip.

it still happens, naturally, because that's the scoop-obsessed world we live in, but we are at least usually preserved from having the best things spoiled. That wasn't the case with Iron Man, though, and one paparazzo managed to steal a first look at the Iron Man armour while hiding in bushes and leak it to the Internet.

Instead of just having him disappeared, Marvel actually took the image for themselves and used it in the film. It's that image that appears on the front cover of the paper Tony is reading right at the end of the film before the climactic press conference.
