8. They Invented A Language For It
Lots of movies and TV shows have gone to the extreme of getting their lead talent to learn foreign languages. Indeed, the kids at the start of Thor: The Dark World were hired specifically for their ability to speak Farsi, as a means to convey London's multi-culturalism.
But less films actually invent a language. It's the kind of detail that tends to get noticed though, even in bad films. For The Dark World, a new language was created specifically for Dark Eves and Christopher Eccleston (Malekith) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Kurse) were forced to memorize some of their dialogue in it.
In another display of the film's commitment to detail, there were about thirty different versions of Mjolnir made, including lighter version of the main aluminium one and soft ones for hitting people.
