10. Black Panther Arrives - Captain America: Civil War

When T'Challa made his first MCU appearance in Captain America: Civil War, there was always the risk that he would be overshadowed by the other debutant, Spider-Man. Peter Parker was by far the more anticipated character of the two, but the future King of Wakanda made an incredible impression.

Immediately soaring to lofty heights of popularity with both comic book and mainstream fans, T'Challa was able to use this platform to go on to become one of the greatest, most popular characters in cinematic history.

Though T'Challa had already made his first appearance in the movie at the signing of the Sokovia Accords, it was when he jumped into shot to fight Bucky as the Black Panther that the hero truly announced himself on the MCU stage.

He pummelled the Winter Soldier, and looked impossibly cool letting a barrage of bullets simply bounce off him, before taking to the streets in one of the most iconic chase sequences in the franchise. As a stranger to the MCU, Black Panther hung in there with Bucky, Captain America, and Falcon, giving him an introduction that any character would be proud of.
