9. Drax Is The Easy MVP
Remember when everyone was at least a little sceptical about Dave Bautista's ability to play Drax the Destroyer? And remember when he blew everyone away in the first Guardians movie, being widely praised as one of its standout elements?
Well, he did it again. James Gunn clearly knew he was onto a winner with Bautista's hilariously well-pitched performance, and basically decided to bless him with the majority of the best one-liners this time around.
From bragging about his "famously huge turds" to pretty much everything he says to Mantis (Pom Klementieff), the majority of Drax's quips hit the gut-busting mark, and even the brief serious character moments involving his murdered family work pretty well.
Fingers crossed that Infinity War manages to harness Drax's deranged sense of humour for similarly uproarious laughs, even though Gunn had no hand in writing it.
