15. The Army Pick THE WORST Place To Subdue The Hulk - The Incredible Hulk

After Bruce Banner Hulks out and nearly kills Betty Ross, he goes into hiding while her father, General Thunderbolt Ross, hires a squad to track him down. When he learns that Bruce is meeting Betty at a university, his soldiers wait for him to be in a non-hazardous area before attempting to take him down.

Oh, wait. That's not what happens at all. Instead, they use machine guns, grenade launchers, tear gas, pulse cannons, and a freaking helicopter's mini-gun on the Hulk. The army unleashes this assault on the emerald-skinned Goliath, (and I must stress this again), at a school filled with thousands of innocent people. They are so close to the public, several teenagers are seen recording the brawl on their cellphones.

If Ross doesn't want to cause an incident or insight a panic, why did he have this confrontation out in the open where hundreds of people can see it? Why didn't he tail Bruce and knock him out with a tranquilliser when he moved to a safer location? I know Ross is desperate to nab Bruce and doesn't want him to get away again but this strategy feels stupidly dangerous.
