9. Gamora Learning To Love

With The Mad Titan, Thanos, as her dad, Gamora didn't exactly get off to the right start in life. She was bred to kill, exercise ruthlessness, and most crucially, serve her maniacal pops. Therefore, it was of complete detriment to these characteristics, that she got lumbered in with the hapless, wise-cracking antics of Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Spending time with a good-hearted human with a passion for dancing and a complete disregard for authority in every respect, showed Gamora a better way. And it was a new lifestyle she willingly embraced. Two movies later, and she was a fully-fledged and decidedly more laid-back outcast, given to cheerfully miming the lyrics to The Rubberband Man by The Spinners.

It's a shame the joy of her transition didn't last. Seeing the return of her hard-nosed nut-crunching pre-Star-Lord ways in Endgame really showed how far she had come in that four-year time-span. But that's not to say that she won't be lulled into the world of rebellion and dance a second time round. Roll on Guardians 3.
