AC/DC band also appear briefly on the Avengers soundtrack, but, curiously, they disappeared from Iron Man 3. Director Shane Black wasnt bothered about continuing the theme, relying more heavily on Brian Tylers score, which the composer acknowledged needed to be darker than the previous films to coincide with Tonys mood following the events of The Avengers.
