MCU: Casting The Remaining (Relevant) Asgardians
5. Beta Ray Bill - Elias Toufexis
Beta Ray Bill is basically an alien Thor, having held back waves of Sutur's fire demons single-handedly in order to protect the remainder of his people, an act which meant that he was deemed worthy enough to wield Mjolnir.
Following this, Odin crafted Bill a hammer of his own: Stormbreaker. Now, due to the death of Odin and Thor's newest axe having stolen the aforementioned name in the MCU, Bill's origin would probably have to be changed a bit. There's also the added wrinkle of Bill having already had his face emblazoned across Sakaar, implying that he was one of the Grandmaster's former champions.
Preferably, this origin would be one which meant that he and the God of Thunder had known each other for years, with the All-Father having created a weapon for him prior to the events of even the Asgardian's first big screen appearance. This way, the audience wouldn't have to sit through yet another origin story, and we could get right into the action.
Anyhow, Elias Toufexis should be the one to portray Bill on-screen, with his performances across the gaming world, not to mention his ones on TV, solidifying him as a brilliant actor, and one who is well-suited to playing the part of both the hero and the villain.
