It took a long time for Marvel to give any official update on a Doctor Strange sequel - despite the first movie setting one up - but it is moving forward, with a release of 2021 looking likely.

The first mixed intriguing mysticism with incredible visuals, and there's a ready-made villain for Doctor Strange 2 in Mordo. After his appearance in Infinity War (and whatever happens with him in Endgame), there's plenty more to do with Stephen Strange as Marvel delve even deeper into the weirder side of the MCU. Strange should be a key figure in Phase 4, which means Doctor Strange 2 should be a must watch, even if details are still scarce right now.
