The most exciting thing about Far From Home's future possibilities was the inclusion of JK Simmons' new J Jonah Jameson - a marriage of actor and character so perfect that it survived a reboot. That happens so rarely that you know it means something.

This Jameson is clearly a new media mogul - a sort of Alex Jones/Breitbart News figurehead who announces himself as a voice of the people, revealing the Truth with a capital T that the fake news media won't tell you. That is sort of inspired and it is a very zeitgeisty sort of reimagining.
