MCU Theory: Will Ant-Man Appear In Captain Marvel?
She HAS to...
When Avengers: Infinity War's credits rolled and fans looked forward to the yawning chasm before the release of Avengers 4's release, we could all have been forgiven for ignoring just how important the two movies released in that gap would be. But as Kevin Feige has been telling us for ages now, both of them are hugely important for the resolution of Thanos' snap.
It's important to think of both Ant-Man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel in relation to Infinity War and Avengers 4 the same way all of the individual character comics that tied into Civil War's main storyline comic. They're very much part of the story and their titles almost should have (Infinity War) tagged onto them.
They're also closely tied together because of the importance of the Quantum Realm, and though Captain Marvel doesn't turn up in Ant-Man & The Wasp, there's a very good chance that Ant-Man might turn up in her solo movie. Even if it's just briefly. And how do we know? Because he probably HAS to.

“This is exciting for the future. There are different ways that some of these ideas appear on-screen in a few years. Not just for Ant-Man, but also for Captain Marvel and all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

That's intriguing if just about vague enough to really inspire some good theorising. And the ending of Ant-Man & The Wasp might well confirm WHY the Realm plays a part in her film... Read on but be aware that SPOILERS follow.2.
