Morbius: 10 Marvel Vampires Who Could Appear

10. Hunger (Loxias Crown)

Let's go ahead and get this one out of the way.

Matt Smith is set to play Loxias Crown, the villain of the film. The trailers have yet to show us exactly what Morbius will be facing, but it's pretty clear that Crown will undergo a similar transformation and become a vampire as well.

In the comics, Loxias Crown gains his powers while experimenting on Morbius. Morbius drained his life force and turned him into a vampire as well.

His powers are pretty standard for a vampire; night vision, echolocation, and superhuman strength and speed. Unless Sony is floating us a red herring, it's pretty obvious that the climax of the film will be vampire versus vampire.

Venom was successful with the same formula: why wouldn't Sony try to replicate it?

While such a predictable plot might be a bummer for some fans, it's a certainty that Matt Smith will make it worth our time. Watching him portray a sinister Crown followed by a bloodthirsty Hunger is certainly acceptable for the first Morbius entry.
