3. Kate Mara's Bland Lead Performance
Kate Mara has proven herself to be a terrific actress in Netflix's political thriller series House of Cards, though has struggled to find solid roles for herself on the big screen.

Morgan isn't really an exception, though Mara doesn't help herself because she gives such a howlingly bland performance.
While the icy, detached nature of her corporate problem solver character means that she's fairly cool and calm throughout, Mara just doesn't do much to give Lee any palpable screen presence.

The fact that she's given precedent over the title character for most of the movie was clearly a big mistake given how much more compelling Morgan is.
