7. A Minecraft Movie Squared

Last year's A Minecraft Movie was both a box office juggernaut and genuine pop-culture behemoth beyond anyone's expectations, and so of course Warner Bros. swiftly greenlit a currently-shooting sequel, A Minecraft Movie Squared.

Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Coolidge, and Matt Berry will return and once again be directed by Jared Hess, while after campaigning to nab a role in the sequel, Kirsten Dunst will co-star as Alex, the new owner of Steve's (Black) former home.

That's about all we know, though considering the monstrous success of the first film, it's fair to assume that it won't be straying too far from what worked the first time - wacky characters doing deeply silly things in a series of live-action and fully CGI environments.

Whether it can replicate the original's commercial dominance remains to be seen, but it'll surely end up one of next summer's most lucrative and talked-about blockbuster releases.
