15. Sonic the Hedgehog 4

Back when Paramount dropped their first trailer for the original Sonic the Hedgehog movie with that cursed design, who could've ever expected it to become one of the most successful and beloved video game adaptations of all time?

But seven years later, the hugely anticipated fourth film is awaiting release, with basically the entire ensemble cast from the previous films primed to return - yes, even the set-to-retire Jim Carrey - alongside director Jeff Fowler.

After being introduced at the end of Sonic 3, Amy Rose will play a major role as voiced by Kristen Bell, while the plot is said to be heavily influenced by Sonic CD, with Metal Sonic - who we briefly saw in Sonic 3 - also having a prominent part.

Elsewhere Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade will appear in undisclosed roles, while Ben Kingsley and Nick Offerman will lend their voices to mystery parts. 

As long as Sonic 4 maintains the fun tone and slick action that made Sonic 3 such a blast, how can this go wrong?
