With Comic Con just around the corner, the comic book movie fandom world should be bracing themselves for a raft of new material dedicated to Marvel, Fox and DC's upcoming slate of blockbusters. We'll likely see things from Doctor Strange, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming, maybe even Thor, Justice League... It's going to be a smorgasbord of geekgasm-worthy information.

And ahead of the event even kicking off, Entertainment Weekly have an exclusive tease of some Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 concept art, which features the first glimpse of newcomer Mantis.

So.... she's not actually green then? Interesting. She's also not good in a crowd, apparently:

“She has never really experienced social interaction,” says executive producer Jonathan Schwartz. “Everything she learns about dealing with people, she learns from the Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a very weird group to learn your social intricacies from.”

The other intriguing things to initially note about the image are the reveal of Star Lord's new armour - as teased by Chris Pratt's set shot Instagram posts - the fact that Groot is indeed tiny, that Rocket has a jet pack and that both Nebula and Yondu seem to be part of the team. That might not be how it starts, but they're certainly setting it up as the message here.
