New Version Of Joker To Appear In Robert Pattinson's The Batman Trilogy!
A new incarnation of the Clown Prince of Crime will butt heads with R-Batz.
It’s best to take this with a pinch of salt right now, but a new report claims that Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader will find himself going up against The Joker before all is said and done with director Matt Reeves’ Batman trilogy.
This story comes courtesy of TheDirect, and it’s believed that this latest incarnation of the infamous Clown Prince of Crime will be referenced in next year’s The Batman, before then being an on-screen presence in both the second and third of Reeves’ Bat-flicks.
If this is indeed true, the Harlequin of Hate won’t be the only long-time Batman foe to be on the table for this new trilogy of Batman pictures. For next year’s debut of Pattinson in the Batsuit, it’s already been confirmed that Colin Farrell will be playing Penguin, Paul Dano is The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz is Catwoman, and the ever-brilliant John Turturro will be turning up as mob boss Carmine Falcone.
Most recently, audiences have seen Joaquin Phoenix put in an Oscar-winning performance as The Joker in Todd Phillips’ 2019 movie. Previously, Cesaro Romero, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, and Jared Leto have played this most sinister of characters in live-action on the silver screen.
At present, Matt Reeves’ The Batman is booked in for an October 1, 2021 release.
