Obsessed With Film Crossword #1

Are you like me on a Sunday? Totally bored. I've just watched Clerks II for the second time instead of doing my university work (which I should really be doing!!) and I decided to put this crossword together. I've purposefully made it quite difficult but it's far from impossible. There is one semi-mistake on the crossword.... The question that says....

"The opening shot of this movie is a visual homage to the movie mentioned in first clue"

That first clue, is the answer to this question.....

"The first word ushered in the 1941 classic film, which saw a true legend write, direct, edit and lead his first film".
